Expressions of interest are invited for this temporary full-time position. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the school's curriculum, championing quality teaching and learning programs to support positive outcomes for every student, collaborating as part of the leadership team to shape school-wide initiatives, mentoring pre-service and beginning teachers, driving meaningful data conversations, and building strong professional relationships.

About the Role

The Head of Department (Curriculum) will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a real difference in the lives of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school's curriculum, ensuring it is aligned with state and national standards.
  • Champion quality teaching and learning programs, providing guidance and support to teachers to ensure they have the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality education.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to shape school-wide initiatives, working together to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Mentor pre-service and beginning teachers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Drive meaningful data conversations, using data to inform teaching practice and drive student outcomes.
  • Build strong professional relationships with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
