Overview
">The Philanthropy Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all philanthropic and fundraising activities in Melbourne and Victoria. This position plays a critical part in driving the organization's growth and impact through strategic partnerships and donor relationships.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Annual Giving: Establish and maintain effective relationships with donors, ensuring timely communications and meeting their evolving needs.
- Major Gifts and Philanthropic Programs: Develop and implement strategies to secure new program donors, manage renewals, and grow existing philanthropic programs.
- Fundraising and Development events: Plan and execute annual development event schedules, develop fundraising strategies, and coordinate event management to maximize returns.
- Trusts and Foundations in Victoria: Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with key stakeholders in Victoria's philanthropic landscape, including trusts and foundations, to secure support for the organization's mission.
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in philanthropy management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. A qualification in management or a related field is highly desirable, as is experience in event management and grant writing.
