About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at Marble. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate pricing for contracts and variations, creating written content for material items, and offering technical support to team members and sales staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations, including appropriate margin considerations
- Create written content for material items
- Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
- Offer technical support to team members and sales staff
- Produce accurate documentation within budgeted timelines
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
- Evidence of proactive qualities and ability to work autonomously
- 2+ years experience in construction estimating
- Ability to work with sales people, and understanding of their role and urgency
- Construction knowledge and a trade background favoured
- Competency with Microsoft Office and experience working with an estimating system
