We are seeking a highly skilled Water Services Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of our Water Services Branch, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of water services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Water Services Branch, ensuring alignment with our organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Water Services Branch, including the management of water and sewerage systems, asset management, and best practice management of water and sewerage systems.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on water and wastewater treatment processes, including discharges, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Council's Administration Centre, and external stakeholders, including water and sewerage industry partners.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications:
  • A Class C Driver's Licence;
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • OR Equivalent Water Services tertiary qualifications would also be considered.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in Local Government Engineering Operations, including Design, Water, Sewer, Development Assessment and Construction;
  • Experience in asset management and best practice management of water and sewerage systems;
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment processes, including discharges.
