Lead Structural Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineering Specialist to join our team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing drafting on large projects, leading junior drafters, and assisting with the preparation of preliminary sketch designs.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 8 years' experience in drafting, a strong understanding of Revit, and relevant TAFE qualifications or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex drafting projects autonomously, leading a team of junior drafters to deliver high-quality results.
- Assist senior engineers in preparing preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project queries and communicate relevant project information to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting systems and processes.
- Review and ensure compliance with relevant standards and Quality Assurance procedures.
- You have a deep understanding of Revit and can work independently to manage projects.
- You have a minimum of 8 years' experience in drafting, with relevant TAFE qualifications or equivalent experience.
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You have a general understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
