Job Description

As a seasoned leader, you will oversee the execution of multiple aviation engineering projects. Your primary responsibilities include spearheading project teams and managing costs, as well as developing and maintaining timely project deliverables.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead and guide project teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage project costs and develop detailed financial reports
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines and milestones
  • Oversee project contracts, procurement, and subcontracts in consultation with stakeholders
  • Engage with internal teams, customers, and other project experts to influence project direction and outcomes
  • Prepare and implement thorough project plans and manage project governance
  • Provide leadership and support to project team members as needed
  • Ensure timely delivery within constraints of time, cost, quality, and resources
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Competencies in Project Management, including experience in managing high-scale/complex projects or multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Experience working in a Defence environment is highly desirable, but not essential
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with expertise in Advanced Project Management, Organisational Change, Business Acumen, and Mentoring/Coaching
  • Relevant technical qualification in a related field, such as Engineering or Project Management
  • Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project Management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2 level
