Job Overview

This is a permanent position working an 8:6 / 7:7 day and night shift roster, fly in fly out (FIFO) from Perth.

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our Fixed Plant Processing Team within our WAIO Operations at Jimblebar mine site.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating the processing plant and equipment in a safe, environmentally responsible, productive, and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely operating and cleaning fixed plant equipment including conveyors, crushing & screening facilities, stockyards, and balance machines
  • Conducting quality control by sampling and testing processed ore to ensure compliance with production specifications
  • Willingness to be trained on all equipment and plant
  • Identifying, reporting, and rectifying hazards
  • Participating in field leadership activities
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong practical operating experience in a similar fixed plant process technician role - experience working in Iron Ore, Gold or Nickel will be looked upon favourably
  • A current full West Australian C class motor vehicle license or equivalent Australian State motor vehicle license
  • A motivated problem solver who is dedicated to continuously improving their work environment
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn
