Neonatal Care Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse/Midwife to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care to neonates and their families in our Neonatal Services team.

  • Assess needs and coordinate individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide seamless, holistic care and support for neonatal patients.
  • Support the clinical team during shifts, including mentoring junior staff and contributing to a safe, effective work environment.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, students, and new staff to promote health and professional development within the neonatal setting.

About You:

  • Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Midwife.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in neonatal or relevant nursing/midwifery practice.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and manage conflict effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to person- and family-centred care, with a strong consumer-focused approach in all clinical interactions.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation and standards relevant to nursing/midwifery practice.
