Job Title

Role Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Cognos Developer to lead our recruitment efforts.

  • Cognos Analytics 11.2 expertise is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Framework Manager, building and maintaining packages, joins, relationships, security filters.
  • Strong SQL skills, able to analyse, modify, and optimise queries generated by Cognos.
  • Report migration projects experience, preferably Teradata → Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Scheduled reporting and ad-hoc query support in Cognos.
  • Data modelling concepts, star/snowflake schemas, consumption-layer design.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills in BI/reporting environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Databricks SQL familiarity and cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • ETL/data warehouse concepts and modern data pipelines exposure.
  • Performance tuning for large-scale enterprise reporting systems experience.
  • BI governance and report lifecycle management knowledge.
