In this role, you will:

  • Develop sales strategies for a portfolio of small business customers.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH BUSINESS PARTNERS TO CREATE AND ACTION NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT OUR CUSTOMERS.
  • Manage opportunities & national leads on Salesforce.
  • Grow our customers' 'Bank Of Choice' footprint and undertake retention related activities for existing customers.
  • Analyze credit requirements and approve requests for temporary excesses/increased limit requirements.
  • Provide coaching, lead actions and model great behaviours across the broader business.
  • Manage lending and product requests for small business customers.
  • Understand customers' business needs to provide holistic banking solutions.
  • Increase the portion of 'Mybank' customers within the portfolio with interactions and referrals.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalations until resolution is reached.
  • Coach less experienced bankers within the team and develop associates.
  • Drive customer portfolio risk and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders (Retail, Partners and other Business Partners).

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in lending roles.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and the credit process.
  • A strong financial/business acumen.
  • Problem solving, time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
