Enterprise Project Manager Role

This role is ideal for an individual who can drive project success and manage risks with excellent communication skills. The Enterprise Project Manager will oversee the delivery of programs and projects within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resources expectations.

  • Key responsibilities include identifying key technical and project risks and issues, actively putting mitigating actions in place, and maintaining strong customer focus to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Other responsibilities include conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers, providing direction when needed, managing the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables, advocating to customers the appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio, and driving project success while managing risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Project Management Certification, preferably PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Agile Project Management certification, preferably Scrum Master or equivalent certification.

What We're Looking For In You

We are looking for an individual who has experience in enterprise IT programs, process improvement, and software engineering project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.

  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Project management certification, preferably PMP or equivalent.
  • Agile project management certification, preferably Scrum Master or equivalent.
