About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the voice of Ashdown People when helping with customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling escalated customer complaints and inquiries from various channels.
  • Providing and coordinating solution services to customers.
  • Following the warranties and returns policy to provide good customer outcomes.
  • Carrying out administrative duties such as data entry and follow up calls.
  • Maintaining and updating customer records in the system, including notes about interactions.

About You

We are looking for a confident, calm and respectful negotiator who is able to work as part of a team as well as operate with little supervision. You will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in a customer service, call centre.
  • Proven experience dealing with difficult customers and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in practical application of the ACL (Australian Consumer Law) in either a retail or manufacturer environment (highly desirable).
  • A high level of written and verbal English.
