Account Manager Job Description

At Hughes and Jones Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team in the Southern Region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, while managing existing customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including presales, marketing, and channel partners, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and analyze sales performance
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of high-achieving sales results in the ICT industry, with a minimum of 5 years of customer-facing sales experience
  • Strong understanding of complex solution sales, including cybersecurity, cloud computing, and professional services
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients up to C-level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with solid account planning and forecasting skills
