About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lending Specialist to join our team, responsible for supporting our branch in achieving its lending growth objectives. As a trusted home lending advisor, you will help new and existing customers navigate one of life's biggest milestones - buying a new home.

You will work closely with our experienced Lending Managers to support the holistic client relationship, ensuring that our customers achieve their financial goals in a seamless and simplistic way. Your business development skills will also enable you to engage with and generate new lending opportunities for the branch.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with strategic community groups and partnerships to strengthen local brand awareness and contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the branch in achieving its lending growth objectives
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients
  3. Work closely with Lending Managers to support the holistic client relationship
  4. Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new lending opportunities
  5. Build relationships with strategic community groups and partnerships
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in mortgage lending
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong business development and networking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Degree in a related field (e.g. finance, banking)
