Job Summary

Loyola College is a Catholic co-educational school in the Ignatian tradition with an enrolment of 1440 students. We are seeking an experienced AV Theatre Systems Technician to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating our state-of-the-art audio-visual systems in the college theatre. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate audio-visual equipment, including soundboards, projectors, and screens.
  • Ensure all technical aspects of live performances, events, and presentations are executed smoothly.
  • Collaborate with staff and students to achieve excellent outcomes in every event.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems and technical equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
