Pool and Spa Retail Manager Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Pool and Spa Retail Manager to lead our team in Bunbury. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, training and leading a team of retail assistants, and providing expert customer service and water testing advice.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily retail store operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and lead a team of retail assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide expert customer service and water testing advice, helping customers make informed decisions about pool and spa chemicals and equipment.
  • Recommend pool and spa chemical and equipment solutions, meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Manage administrative duties, including scheduling services, rostering, and system updates.
  • Handle stock control, merchandising, and cash reconciliation, ensuring accurate records and minimal losses.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong people skills and confidence in customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Motivation and initiative to drive store success, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to lead and mentor others, developing a high-performing team.
  • Experience in retail or leadership is ideal, but not required – we'll train you on our products and systems.
