Safety and Compliance Specialist


Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization operates with integrity while meeting regulatory requirements and managing potential risks. This role is well-suited to someone detail-oriented and proactive, who enjoys balancing governance with practical business needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accreditation, ensuring continued compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead internal audits, gap analysis, and accreditation renewal processes.
  • Provide technical support for project teams, ensuring risk assessments, permits, and safety plans align with company policies and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits on projects to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work closely with project leadership to embed a strong safety culture across all project phases.
  • Prepare and present safety reports for project leadership, clients, regulatory bodies, and accreditation schemes.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement of safety management systems to align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison with contractors and internal teams on safety matters.
  • Manage and maintain ISN compliance, including timely updates of company information, documentation, and performance data.
