Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our team at Royal Freemasons Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Coordinator of rehabilitation outcomes for workers, facilitation of efficient and safe resumption of duties in line with capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively supporting staff to remain at work through supporting a safe work environment, upholding Occupational Health and Safety legislation, maintaining communication with site management, and facilitating early intervention.
- Manage the administration of the Workcover claims process by forming effective relationships with the organizations claims management provider and maintaining accurate record keeping.
- Facilitate a return to work to pre-injury hours and duties by working with the injured worker, their manager, their representatives and medical team, WorkSafe and other interested parties to ensure a positive return to work outcome.
- Effectively manage both statutory and common law claims to maximize outcomes for both the injured worker and the organization.
- Prepare reports for management on the status and performance of the Workcover process, premium management, RTW management data and financial outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years' experience in an injury management role (or similar).
