Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children between the ages of 5-11 in a classroom setting, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Assist with daily routines, including implementing behavior support strategies and providing additional support to children with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for all students.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
  • Desirable qualifications include 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics, as well as Team Teach Training and Level 3 qualifications in the education sector.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly valued.
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written, is essential.
  • Experience in Phonics and supporting children to read and write is also desirable.
