Position Overview
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care? Healthscope Hospitals is seeking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. We encourage qualified candidates with relevant clinical experience to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
- Ensure the safety of both patients and staff
- Oversee and mentor nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Educate and support patients in managing their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or in progress)
- Working with Children check (if applicable)
- Commitment to delivering Quality Patient Care
- Adherence to ACQSHC National standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
