Public Relations Specialist

About the Role
The Public Affairs Manager is responsible for developing long-term proactive and reactive media strategies as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with metropolitan and regional media.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing timely and high-quality advice to the Chief Magistrate and Chief Executive Officer in relation to media engagement strategies and issues management;
- Working closely with staff engaged in intranet and website management digital strategy and internal and external communications;
- Collaborating with stakeholders to build a positive reputation for the organization.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in communication public relations or related discipline;
- Relevant experience in media and/or communications;
- Some knowledge of the justice system would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
