Global Manufacturer Seeks Experienced Injection Moulding Expert

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Die Setter or related role in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) health and safety practices.

About the Role:

This permanent full-time position involves implementing daily die setting programs, performing routine maintenance on tooling machines, promoting OH&S policies, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing daily die and insert changes according to planned schedules
  • Maintaining work centres, moulding machines, and tools in clean, safe, and efficient working condition during tool changes
  • Handling and storing tools, inserts, and lifting devices safely and appropriately
  • Responding to machine alarms and reporting any tooling issues to the Plastics Engineering Manager
  • Providing assistance in machine and equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Adhering to and promoting OH&S procedures, including following processes, utilising personal protective equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Supporting continuous operation by covering assigned shifts and learning troubleshooting techniques for auto packaging machines
