Compassionate Caregivers Wanted

We are seeking individuals with warm and positive personalities to provide care, compassion, and support to older people.

As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to assist with personal care, hospitality, and housekeeping tasks, promoting independence and dignity among residents.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and able to manage your time effectively.

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability or Nursing is highly regarded.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centred care and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and assistance to residents
  • Assisting with household duties and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Encouraging independence and promoting resident choice and control
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centred care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability or Nursing
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Manual Handling and safe lifting practices
