Job Title: Leadership and Support Specialist Elevate Care Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee workflow, ensuring employees understand their duties and delegated tasks. This role involves supervising others and resolving issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and serving as a link between workers and management. Key responsibilities include: 
  • Manage staff allocation, rosters and participant preferences
  • Collaborate with participants on staff allocation
  • Train staff on participant requirements and strategies
  • Monitor and review staff work practices
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping to ensure staff attendance and reliability
  • Train new staff and supervise during induction or orientation process
  • Prepare and submit performance reports
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Develop capacity in staff and participants

  • Model and reinforce organisational values and culture
  • Reflect and uphold NDIS principles and values in behaviour and way of working
  • Support a work culture that promotes mutual respect and zero tolerance of behaviour that does not uphold participant rights
 Promoting Quality 
  • Use the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework to communicate expectations to workers
  • Create opportunities for collaboration among support team members
  • Provide opportunities for feedback, skill refinement, and knowledge development
 The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in a similar role. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of the NDIS and its principles, along with a commitment to promoting quality and upholding participant rights.
