- This role is for a Trainee Health Worker to work with our team in North West Queensland communities.
To provide health services that support the prevention, early detection and management of health problems.
To work collaboratively with the community to address health issues and provide quality services consistent with contemporary standards.
To contribute to patient safety through active participation in clinical governance frameworks.
RequirementsThis role requires an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person to be employed as per section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
A Certificate IV in Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice) must be completed within 18 months.
A Class C Driver Licence is also required.
Criminal History checks and vaccination records will be conducted for the successful applicant.
BenefitsWe offer a base grade salary ranging between $63,186 and $72,194 pa (HWF1).
Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are available.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution is provided.
