Senior Occupational Therapist Role

The Senior Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care to clients, empowering them to live their best lives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about occupational therapy and committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess strong time-management skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing home-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions for clients in their own homes through home care packages/NDIS
  • Arranging appropriate home modifications and equipment
  • Developing therapy programs to improve clients' daily routines, independence in personal care skills, domestic skills, community skills, and sensory requirements
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to provide support for clients and refer to appropriate services as required
  • Reviewing therapy programs to follow up on the progress of clients and the results they have achieved
