This is a fast-paced and interesting role that offers the opportunity to utilize your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional, and sound approach.
Key Responsibilities- Observe activities associated with asset protection
- Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
- Provide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response Services
- Review camera footage and write reports
- Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Open driver's license
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level computer literacy skills
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Australian Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
