About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Protection Specialist to play a pivotal role in overseeing our organization's technical security capabilities. This position demands strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in implementing processes and technical safeguards to protect infrastructure services.

This individual will work closely with leaders, architects, and other engineers to develop and maintain a deep understanding of information assurance principles and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a thorough comprehension of information assurance principles and organizational requirements.
  • Designing and implementing network protocols and directory services, along with host and network access control mechanisms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or Engineering.
  • Five years of experience in information security, with a focus on complex environments.
  • CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, ISC2 CCSP, and SSCP certifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, as well as network security methodologies.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Experience with threat analysis and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
