**Job Title:** Infrastructure Inspection Specialist

Aurizon is offering an exciting opportunity for a Rail Track Infrastructure Inspector to join the Infrastructure Team in Central Australia to support the exciting growth within our Bulk business. You will closely examine Aurizon's rail tracks to ensure operations can be performed safely and efficiently.

  1. Conduct inspections in accordance with Aurizon's Track Standards for Yards to ensure our rail tracks are safe and efficient.
  2. Proactively examine and identify maintenance needs by Hyrail or walking track to ensure our rail tracks are in good condition.
  3. Report any issues to the Superintendent/Maintenance Team for prioritization to ensure timely maintenance.
  4. Service and maintain points to ensure turnouts are operating properly.
  5. Opportunity to work with timber and Concrete assets to develop your skills and knowledge.
  6. Frequent travel required from Alice Springs to Tennant Creek or Tarcoola to inspect our rail tracks.
  7. Attend to call-outs and urgent inspection requirements to ensure our rail tracks are safe and efficient.
  8. Input data and create work orders in AMS to ensure accurate record-keeping.

**About You:**

  • Certificate 3 in Rail Infrastructure or equivalent to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Full and current 'C' Class Driver Licence is mandatory for this role.
  • Hyrail operation experience to ensure you can safely and efficiently inspect our rail tracks.
  • Previous or current experience in Inspector role or similar to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Comfortable with traveling and working autonomously to inspect our rail tracks.
  • Find repetitive tasks and routine satisfying to ensure you enjoy this role.
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Basic computer literacy skills to use AMS and create work orders.
