Mission and Ministry Coordinator Role Overview


This role is responsible for the educational and spiritual leadership of a Christ-centred faith community. The Mission and Ministry Leader works closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies that promote Catholic perspectives across all subject areas.


The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Catholic education principles and be able to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents. They will also have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the development of a Christ-centred faith community
  • Work collaboratively with the Principal and Leadership Team to promote Catholic perspectives across all subject areas
  • Provide educational and spiritual leadership to the school community
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the mission and ministry of the school

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
