About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Laundry Assistant to join our team at a residential facility in Horsham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other spaces.
  • Perform laundry duties, ensuring residents' clothing and linen are cleaned, handled, and stored with care.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to confidentiality, and a sound understanding of safety protocols. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and client needs is essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll have at least one year of experience in a similar cleaning position, ideally within a commercial or residential care setting. Experience with laundry duties, including the safe handling, washing, drying, and storage of clothing and linen, is also required.
