Australia Post is seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Provider to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in helping our employees return to work after an injury.

As a Workplace Rehabilitation Provider, you will be responsible for assessing the rehabilitation needs of injured employees and developing personalized return to work plans. You will work closely with medical practitioners, service providers, and workplace managers to ensure a smooth and successful return to work process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial rehabilitation assessments and work site assessments to identify employee needs
  • Develop and implement return to work plans tailored to individual employee needs
  • Liaise with medical practitioners, service providers, and workplace managers to ensure a successful return to work process
  • Maintain accurate and detailed file records
  • Conduct training sessions on occupational rehabilitation, policy, and procedures
About You

We are seeking an Allied Health professional with a passion for helping others. You will have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Exercise Physiology.

You will also need prior experience applying early injury management strategies, eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association, and excellent case management skills with proven return to work outcomes.
