Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative accountant to join our hotel community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll and accounts payable & receivable with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review daily cash balance for accurate cash flow projections, ensuring transparency in financial transactions.
  • Conduct month-end close reconciliation and financial analysis with exceptional analytical skills, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist department heads with payroll costs, while maintaining a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles.
  • Effectively manage inventory and stocktake reporting, ensuring adherence to internal control procedures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hotel accountant role or 2 years finance experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce quality output under tight deadlines and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain self-motivation and strong analytical skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet business objectives.
  • Hold full unrestricted Australian work rights, adhering to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
