About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our ESG Risk Advisory practice, focusing on Safeguarding. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the growth and development of our ESG Risk Advisory practice, with a focus on Safeguarding, by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute business plans, including sales and marketing strategies, to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Manage and execute multiple client engagements or components of large engagements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services and meeting client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, including partners, directors, and staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in ESG Risk Advisory and Safeguarding, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in governance, risk, compliance, and finance roles within professional services or consultancies, with a focus on sectors that serve and support vulnerable consumers.
  • Extensive experience in client/stakeholder relationship management and business development, with a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue targets.
  • Deep expertise and passion for facilitating and presenting to diverse groups, including one-on-one and group consultations, preferably gained in a professional services firm and/or large corporate.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and/or carrying out risk, governance, and compliance frameworks, standards, audits, and reviews, including internal auditing or experience with regulators and compliance investigations.
  • Ability to relate to people and understand motivations and drivers, with a strong track record of leading and/or influencing at a senior level.
Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in social sciences, commerce, health, human services, or similar.
