Position Overview

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a qualified and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a dedicated and professional operations team within our aquatic facilities.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the on-site team operates efficiently to provide a safe and welcoming environment for patrons, adhering to operational standards, contractual obligations, quality assurance protocols, and industry regulations. This role will also focus on addressing patron feedback to enhance the overall perception of our facility's operations.

Working closely with the Aquatic Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will enhance the visual appeal of the center through effective contractor management and compliance with OH&S processes and management systems established by Belgravia, as well as relevant legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

Possessing a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Ensuring all emergency equipment is maintained in optimal condition Assisting the Aquatic Operations Manager in the investigation of incidents and accidents Monitoring OHS, Risk, and Environmental performance, initiating improvements as necessary Conducting hazard and environmental inspections, risk assessments, and implementing risk controls and corrective measures, ensuring thorough record-keeping Managing budgets and preparing necessary reports Maintaining Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and mystery shop evaluations in alignment with KPIs set by Belgravia Leisure

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aquatic operations and a commitment to providing a safe environment for both staff and patrons. You will be adept at creating and maintaining all relevant documentation related to safety and hazard mitigation.

Excellent communication skills are essential for building rapport and fostering positive relationships with team members and stakeholders, alongside a dedication to operational excellence. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with all operational staff and contractors.

To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Aquatic Operations setting and a proven track record of team leadership. You will embody values such as integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership, and accountability.
