Learning Support Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer to join our vibrant school community at Mary Immaculate Primary School.

Job Description

The successful applicant will work 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9.00am-3.30pm, commencing Tuesday 28 February 2025. As a Learning Support Officer, you will be responsible for implementing strategies and programs that cater to a diverse range of learning needs under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader and classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop positive and constructive relationships with all members of the school community
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create inclusive learning environments
  • Contribute to ongoing professional learning and development
  • Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs

Requirements

  • Certificate III or higher in Education Support (preferably)
  • Recent experience working with young students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
