Director of Transport Operations

Develop and implement the product strategy for landside transportation in Oceania to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and deliver the product roadmap with alignment to global strategic directives and customer needs in the Australia and New Zealand markets.
Set clear direction and expectations with stakeholders across the organisation to achieve product goals.
Business Growth Opportunities:
Identify and lead organic growth initiatives by leveraging Maersk's customer integrator value proposition.
Collaborate with finance, commercial, and procurement teams to build business cases and plans for product growth.
P&L Ownership & Product Performance Management:
Accountable for the product P&L, including pricing, cost management, and margin optimisation.
Regularly report on KPIs, forecasts, and financial metrics to senior stakeholders.
Monitor product performance and implement initiatives to improve profitability and cost-to-serve.
Market Intelligence & Expertise:
Stay updated on regulatory changes, market trends, and competitor developments in the Oceania transportation sector.
Be the subject matter expert on landside transportation trends and innovation in the ANZ region.
