Handy Person Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person to support our maintenance, fit-outs, and warehouse tasks.

This role is ideal for individuals with flexible part-time schedules, such as retirees or those with adaptable hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks at our studios, handle minor repairs, touch-ups, and troubleshooting, and ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operational.
  • Assist with new studio fit-outs, including carpentry, painting, and general construction tasks, and collaborate with the construction team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Painting: Perform detailed painting work for touch-ups and new studio preparations.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving and managing deliveries, maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and organize and keep the warehouse clean and functional.
  • General Duties: Assist with various ad-hoc tasks as needed to support studio operations.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in carpentry, general construction, or related trades.
  • Strong painting skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in general maintenance and repairs.
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items.
  • Own vehicle and full set of construction tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift license (preferred but not essential).

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, averaging 20-30 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours during busy periods. Hours may vary based on studio fit-out schedules and maintenance needs.
