We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our team on a full-time, site-based role. The successful candidate will work with cutting-edge technologies and be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered generators and associated equipment at a key customer site.

About the Role

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diesel generators and mechanical systems. This includes diagnosing and repairing faults in engines, cooling systems, and fuel systems. You will also complete inspections, testing, and commissioning as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of diesel generators and associated equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting engine, cooling system, and fuel system faults
  • Performing regular inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Liaising with customers and teams to deliver high-level service and support
  • Participating in continuous improvement and site safety initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician
  • Previous experience working with power generation equipment or heavy diesel engines
  • Strong mechanical diagnostics and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in remote environments
  • Valid driver's licence (HR licence preferable)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site induction requirements
