Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a leading hand, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of tradespeople and carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance to heavy equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about working with heavy machinery. If you have a strong background in mechanical repair and experience in a supervisory role, we would like to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the team, ensuring efficient completion of work to the required standard.
- Provide timely updates and act as a liaison between the team, management, and clients.
- Apply best practices and assist with troubleshooting complex faults.
- Perform quality control on completed assignments to ensure standard of work meets client expectations.
Requirements:
- A Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel, or Auto Electrician trade qualification with post-trade experience.
- Previous leadership or Leading Hand experience desirable.
- An understanding of Caterpillar equipment and CAT warranty process.
