Polywelder - Mining Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Polywelder to join our team, working amongst our mining clients in the Hunter Valley and North-West regions.

The Role:

  • Installation, Assembly, Maintenance, and Repairs: Install, assemble, maintain and repair pumps and pipes on mining sites.
  • Fabrication and Pipe Work: Fabricate pipes as required for mining equipment.
  • Service Reporting: Complete service reports following each job to ensure high standards are met.
  • Pre-Start Meetings and Tool Box Talks: Attend pre-start meetings and tool box talks to ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Stock Management: Maintain stock levels in your vehicle and return unused stock to the branch.

Requirements:

  • Polywelding Ticket: Current Polywelding ticket is essential for this role.
  • Experience: Experience as a Polywelder, Boilermaker, or Plumber is required.
  • Welding and Bonding Techniques: Understanding of welding and bonding techniques is necessary.
  • Tools and Machinery: Understanding and experience with tools and machinery is required.
  • Technical Drawing and Accuracy: Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to drawings.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Safety and Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a strong safety focus is required.
  • Coal Board Medical and Drivers License: Ability to pass Coal Board Medical and hold a current drivers license.
  • Working at Heights Ticket: Current Working at Heights ticket is required.
