About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Recreation and Open Space Planner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the recreational and open space services in our growth area council. Your work will focus on delivering high-quality projects that promote the health, wellbeing, and quality of life for our community.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recreation and open space planning, preferably in a growth area context. They will be passionate about building strong, connected, and healthy communities, with a strong understanding of evidence-based planning principles.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of recreation and open space services in our growth area council.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to promote community health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in recreation and open space planning, incorporating evidence-based research into your work.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a base salary of $99,700 (Band 7) plus superannuation. Our organisation values employee growth and development, providing opportunities for ongoing learning and professional advancement.
