About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Recreation and Open Space Planner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the recreational and open space services in our growth area council. Your work will focus on delivering high-quality projects that promote the health, wellbeing, and quality of life for our community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recreation and open space planning, preferably in a growth area context. They will be passionate about building strong, connected, and healthy communities, with a strong understanding of evidence-based planning principles.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the planning and delivery of recreation and open space services in our growth area council.
  2. Develop and implement innovative solutions to promote community health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
  4. Stay up-to-date with best practices in recreation and open space planning, incorporating evidence-based research into your work.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a base salary of $99,700 (Band 7) plus superannuation. Our organisation values employee growth and development, providing opportunities for ongoing learning and professional advancement.
