Estimator Role

Gough Recruitment seeks a skilled Estimator for Residential and Commercial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage estimating processes from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects.
  • Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities.
  • Source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms where required.
  • Collaborate with Directors and project teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Review tender documentation, identify risks and value opportunities, and provide ongoing cost advice.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years' estimating experience within residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
