Job Description

The role of a Medical Services Specialist involves providing specialized medical/scientific information to stakeholders and regulators. This requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical studies and research developments, as well as reviewing promotional materials for compliance with industry codes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert scientific and medical information to support business objectives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of key therapeutic areas and trends in healthcare.
  • Review and provide feedback on marketing materials to ensure they align with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop country-specific strategies and tactics.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medical Science or relevant Health Science, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical & Scientific Affairs. Higher degrees and experience in Ophthalmology or Neurology are viewed favourably.

This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to understand legal and ethical responsibilities associated with medical information provision.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medical Science or relevant Health Science.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Medical & Scientific Affairs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to search for scientific information effectively.
  • Understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities associated with medical information provision.
