Anaesthetics Career Opportunities

The role of an Independent Anaesthetics Professional involves providing anaesthetic services in various medical settings. As part of the Interventional Suite, Labour ward and Radiology Department teams, you will be working closely with senior medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior medical staff in delivering anaesthetic services
- Participating in Preadmission Clinics and Acute Pain Service initiatives
- Contributing to Clinical Emergency Response Service (CERs) efforts
You will work collaboratively with senior medical staff to ensure seamless service delivery and adhere to established guidelines and protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of two years, with progress towards career goals in Anaesthetics or Critical Care
- Demonstrated experience in Anaesthetics, with a minimum of one year
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities in a multidisciplinary clinical setting
