Junior Painting Craftsman

The successful candidate will acquire a nationally recognised qualification as a Painter through a structured apprenticeship program.

• Work under close supervision as part of an experienced team and at times independently.
• Develop strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Maintain attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Meet strict deadlines and cooperate with others.
• Be punctual, reliable, and presentable.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of relevant workplace health and safety requirements.

Completion of secondary schooling is mandatory. A pre-apprenticeship qualification is highly desirable.

• Ability to work a 76-hour fortnight, Monday to Friday roster with the possibility of some overtime / out-of-hours work.
• Possess a good building and construction understanding and aptitude.
• Relevant work experience.
• A current WA driver's license and own transport are required.
• Strong commitment to safety and driven work ethic.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug & alcohol screening tests.
• Genuine interest in a career within the industry.
