As a Drill Fitter with Byrnecut, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art underground mining equipment.

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Trade Qualified individual to join our team in South Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic and electrical systems and be comfortable working at heights.

The Byrnecut Group is a leading underground mining contractor operating across Australia and internationally. With a multi-million dollar fleet of specialized equipment, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment.

This permanent full-time position offers a range of benefits, including:

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the sinking stage while working closely with the shaft mining crew. We require a positive and enthusiastic approach to achieve high standards in preventative maintenance and stage reliability.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (Australian recognized)
  • Sound Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge and experience
  • Current and Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Must be Working at Heights compliant
  • Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred but not essential
