About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for Anaesthetic Nurses, PACU Nurses, and Anaesthetic Technicians to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
- Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Act quickly and calmly in response to unexpected situations and emergencies.
- Ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality care.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, and legislative requirements.
PACU Nurses will:
- Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from anaesthesia.
- Respond effectively and calmly to emergencies and changing patient needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a cohesive, multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care standards are consistently upheld.
To succeed in these roles, you will bring:
- A minimum of 1 year acute hospital experience.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, or a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or equivalent) for Anaesthetic Technicians.
- Strong clinical skillset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early/late shifts with on-call components.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Any post-graduate perioperative qualifications (highly regarded).
