About the Role

We are seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our road maintenance team as a Ganger. The key responsibility of this position is to provide onsite guidance and assistance to a small team of employees to ensure delivery of quality road maintenance and vegetation management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite guidance and assistance to a small team of employees
  • Ensure delivery of quality road maintenance and vegetation management programs
  • Motivate and supervise a team
  • Perform labouring duties associated with vegetation management, including trimming/removal of tree branches and trees and operation of spray truck equipment
Requirements
  • Proven experience and ability to perform labouring duties associated with vegetation management
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise a team

  • Demonstrated good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated good customer service skills with the ability to communicate with the community in a professional and courteous manner

  • A salary range of $61,500 to $70,500 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills and experience
