Security Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Technician to join our team. Based in Port Melbourne, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the security industry.

This role offers a range of exciting challenges, including system installations, commissioning, service, maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems such as CCTV, Intruder and Access Control. You will be working with a variety of clients across Melbourne and around Australia, providing high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing and commissioning security systems, including CCTV, Intruder and Access Control.
  • Providing service, maintenance and troubleshooting support for security systems.
  • Responding to client needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborating with the team to solve problems and achieve business objectives.
  • Staying up-to-date with new security technologies and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications & Licenses:
  • Current Driving Licence.
  • Current Private Security License.
  • ACMA cabling license (Open).
  • Construction White Card or Equivalent.
  • Working with Children Check.
Experience & Product Knowledge:
  • Experienced with a range of security products, including CCTV, Access Control and Intercoms.
  • Familiarity with security software platforms, including Inner Range Concept, Integriti and Inception.
  • Knowledge of security hardware and networking technologies.
